A boxing gym membership at Witherspoon starts with a free first class and no card. After that you choose one of three plans, each billed monthly across a fixed agreement term.
The three plans compared
| Plan | Price | Term | Best for |
|---|
| 12 month | $85 per month | 12 months | Lowest monthly rate |
| Unlimited | $150 per month | 6 months | Everything including sparring |
| Bootcamp and Cardio | $95 per month | 6 months | Non contact fitness |
Which plan to choose
If you plan to train for a year or more, the 12 month plan gives you the lowest price. If you want sparring access or to train most days, Unlimited covers every class. If you only want non contact conditioning, cardio boxing classes and bootcamp are covered by the Bootcamp and Cardio plan.

Is it worth it?
The CDC recommends adults get 75 minutes of vigorous activity a week plus two days of strength work. Three boxing classes a week meets that, with coaching included, which is the part most gym memberships leave out. See our full list of boxing classes.
What every plan includes
Every plan includes coached group classes in its category, open gym access during hours of operation, and the same coaching standard, whether you train at 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM. Unlimited adds every boxing, Muay Thai and fitness class, personal training sign up, and sparring once a coach approves you.
Gear you will want eventually
You can borrow gloves and wraps at first. Most members buy their own within a month. A good starting kit is a pair of 12 to 16 ounce gloves, hand wraps and a water bottle. If you move toward sparring you will also need a mouthguard and headgear. Ask a coach before buying; they will tell you what size suits your hands and weight.
