This policy explains what personal information Witherspoon Boxing and Fitness collects through witherspoonboxing.com and at the gym, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific to what we actually do.

What we collect
- Free class and enquiry forms: your name, phone number, email address, the class you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number if you give it, subject and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Class booking and registration: your name, email, phone number, and the class and time you choose.
- At the gym: the details on your waiver and membership agreement, including emergency contact and any health information you choose to share with your coach.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting records basic information such as your IP address and browser type. For spam protection our forms store a scrambled, one way version of your IP address, not the address itself.
How we use it
- To book your free class and reply to your enquiries.
- To manage your membership, classes and billing.
- To send class updates, closures and, if you subscribed, our newsletter.
- To keep you safe while training, using health information you share only for that purpose.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other businesses’ advertising.
Where it is stored
Form submissions and bookings are stored in our website’s database and sent by email to the gym. Paper forms such as waivers are kept securely at the gym. Access is limited to staff who need it.
Services we use
- Website hosting and email, to run the site and deliver messages.
- Google Fonts, to display the website’s typefaces. Your browser contacts Google to load them.
- Google Maps, where a map is shown, and for the Directions button.
- YouTube, only if you choose to play a video on the site.
- Payment links, where you pay for a membership online. Payments are handled by the payment provider, and we do not see or store your full card details.
These services have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only when staff log in to manage the site. The services above may set their own cookies when you use them, for example when you play a YouTube video.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and free class bookings: for as long as needed to follow up, and reviewed regularly so old enquiries are deleted.
- Member records, waivers and agreements: for the length of your membership and afterwards for as long as we are legally required to keep them.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Children
Our website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13. Children’s classes are booked by a parent or guardian, who provides the details and signs the waiver.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it, unless we must keep it by law or under your membership agreement.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

Security
We protect the website with security updates, spam filtering, limits on repeated form submissions and restricted admin access. No website is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive health or payment details through the contact forms.
